How to change language in Windows Server 2019.

Hello! Windows Server 2019 comes with over 40 languages to use in its interface. In fact, as it is a global system it must be available in each user’s language. However, it may happen that we travel to a place with a different language. Under those circumstances, it will be imperative to edit how the language is displayed in the system. On the other hand, language is essential to be able to understand the system’s interface. For example, the ideal situation is to have the system installed with our native language. But it may happen that Windows Server has been installed with a different language. As a result, the user will feel more comfortable with his native language. Well, here are a couple of methods to accomplish this task. Come with me to see how to change the language in Windows Server 2019.

How to change the language from the Windows Server 2019 settings

The first method we will try is to use the server settings. With that intention press the Win+I combination. Once there, select Time & Language.

Then scroll down the left column and select Language. Now on the right, click on Add a language.

As you can see, there is only one language installed. After pressing Add a language, a box will be displayed with the list of available languages. In this case, we will use the Spanish language.

In the following window you can download the language as such. In addition, there are other options such as Voice and Handwriting.

Below, you can see that the language is now available. Please click on Options.

In the next window, click on Download to start the installation of the language.

Once you have downloaded and installed the language, you can activate it from the language icon on the taskbar.

How to change the language of Windows Server from the language pack.

If you happen to have problems with the above method, then you can try to download the language from the ISO package. In the first place, you have to download the ISO from this link. Once the image is downloaded, right-click on the mouse and then select Mount.

Then, inside the mounted drive, please browse the x64/langpacks folder.

Then select the corresponding language pack and move it to any location.

Then press the Win+R combination and execute the following command:

lpksetup

Immediately the wizard for installing display languages will be displayed. Please click on the first option.

In the next window, browse to the location where you copied the desired language.

Once the language is loaded, you are ready to add it.
