Greetings friends, Google Chrome one of the most used web browsers, is testing a new feature that you can already try on your Android. It is a new customizable button in the search bar. It’s a feature we haven’t seen before. It will allow you to save time while you are browsing. For now, it is only available in the Google Chrome Canary version. Among the actions in the list that we can program we find sharing, new tab, activate voice recognition, and some more. In this post, we will show you how to activate the new Google Chrome button on Android.
Download and install Google Chrome Canary from Google Play by following the link below:
Then open Chrome Canary
After that, enter in the search bar: chrome://flags
Then in the page that appears search for: #adaptive-button-in-top-toolbar and #adaptive-button-in-top-toolbar. Then enable both options and restart the browser. Its operation is extremely simple. Once you see the button you can configure it from the browser settings. Just go to the ‘Shortcuts’ section and configure what action you want to perform every time you press that button. You can choose between sharing, new tab, activate voice recognition, etc.
Google Chrome Canary is an app in which Google publicly tests the changes for the first time. It may not be completely stable and even late to reach the official version of Google Chrome, even so, we invite you to try this new feature and let us know what you think. Thanks for reading us. Bye!
