Linux Mint is one of the most popular Linux distros all over the world. It is super simple and user-friendly and the user interface is easy-to-understand for Linux newbies, especially for those who’ve switched from Windows to Linux. There are tons of other features like stability, performance and security etc.

Mint 19

Recently, Linux Mint is about to release their latest version – Mint 19. We’ve already discussed about all the new things coming with this Mint 19. Here’s a quick recap of all those.

  • No more KDE
  • TK 3.22
  • New “Welcome” screen
  • Timeshift
  • Better app loading performance

And others. Don’t forget to check it out.

The GOOD news is, Linux Mint 19 is about to RELEASE!

Mint 19 is about to HAS ARRIVED!

Recently, Linux Mint is putting the Mint 19 ISO into “stable” channel of all their mirrors. For example, let’s take a look at the Kernel.org mirror. Navigate to “stable” folder. You’ll notice that there’s a folder named “19”.

Inside the folder, there are all the available Linux Mint 19 ISOs.

As mirrors are loading Mint 19 ISOs to “stable” channel, it’s pretty much confirming that Linux Mint is about to come out anytime from now. I believe that it’ll take a few hours or more for all the mirrors to sync properly.

For those who are interested, you can already enjoy the latest version directly from the mirror. Stay tuned for more Linux Mint 19 news.

Update: Linux Mint 19 (Tara) is released! Finally! Let’s get the latest update!
