Greetings dear friends. MIUI 12.5 adds new features that seek to improve the user experience, such as the new volume control, its customizable status bar, but also has other little-known features. One of these features you should know about is the Extreme Wi-Fi mode. This mode will allow you to give priority to current apps over apps running in the background. This feature is really useful when you are playing an online game or on a video call. The bandwidth is distributed among all the apps that are running in the background. If any of these consumes more bandwidth than it should. It can affect your experience while playing a game or on a video call by slowing down the server response time or decreasing the quality of the call. So in this post, we will show you how to enable Extreme WIFI mode in MIUI 12.5.
Open the Settings of your Xiaomi phone
Then go to the Wi-Fi settings section
After that, Go to Wi-Fi Assistant and click on “Traffic Mode”.
Finally, activate “Extreme Mode” and that’s it. Enjoy!
Nowadays some apps are more and more demanding on bandwidth usage. You should be careful with these apps running in the background so that they do not affect your user experience. One way to prevent this is to enable the Wi-Fi Extreme mode. This mode was tested on devices of different ranges running MIUI 12, one of them running MIUI 12.5, in all of them the option was available. Remember to keep your device updated to the latest version to access all these features and we invite you to try it out and let us know about your experience. Thanks for reading us. Bye!
