<p>Hi folks! In this post, we will show you how to update your <a href="https://www.osradar.com/?s=Android" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Android </a>apps. Updating the apps on your device is a simple task. In a few minutes, you will have your apps updated. Let&#8217;s get started!</p>

<p><strong>The first option you have and probably the easiest is to update your apps using the Google Play Store.</strong></p>

<h2>First step</h2>

<p>Open the Google Play Store, slide to the right to see more options, then click on <em>my apps and games.</em></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="//1081754738.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up01-473x1024.jpg" alt="Google Play Store update" class="wp-image-23762" width="355" height="768" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up01-473x1024.jpg 473w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up01-138x300.jpg 138w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up01-768x1664.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up01-709x1536.jpg 709w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up01-945x2048.jpg 945w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up01-696x1508.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up01-1068x2314.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up01.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 355px) 100vw, 355px" /><figcaption>Google Play Store</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Second step</h2>

<p>After that, you will see the <em>updates </em>section. You can update your apps one by one or you can update them all.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="//1081754738.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up02-473x1024.jpg" alt="my apps and games update" class="wp-image-23763" width="355" height="768" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up02-473x1024.jpg 473w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up02-138x300.jpg 138w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up02-768x1664.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up02-709x1536.jpg 709w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up02-945x2048.jpg 945w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up02-696x1508.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up02-1068x2314.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up02.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 355px) 100vw, 355px" /><figcaption>my apps and games</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Third step</h2>

<p>You can also go to the Google Play settings and check that you have automatic updates enabled. Press<em> auto-update apps</em> and select <em>Over any network or Wifi only.</em></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="//1081754738.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up03-473x1024.jpg" alt="press settings update" class="wp-image-23764" width="355" height="768" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up03-473x1024.jpg 473w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up03-138x300.jpg 138w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up03-768x1664.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up03-709x1536.jpg 709w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up03-945x2048.jpg 945w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up03-696x1508.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up03-1068x2314.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up03.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 355px) 100vw, 355px" /><figcaption>press settings </figcaption></figure>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="//1081754738.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up05-473x1024.jpg" alt="Done!" class="wp-image-23766" width="355" height="768" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up05-473x1024.jpg 473w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up05-138x300.jpg 138w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up05-768x1664.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up05-709x1536.jpg 709w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up05-945x2048.jpg 945w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up05-696x1508.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up05-1068x2314.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up05.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 355px) 100vw, 355px" /><figcaption>Done!</figcaption></figure>

<p>Another method would be to search for the latest version of the APK file of the app you want to update. In this case, you can search for the latest version of the APK file in alternative sources like APK mirror. I recommend you to check this post <a href="https://www.osradar.com/how-to-install-apk-file-android" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">How to install an APK File on Android.</a></p>

<h2>Bonus tips for MIUI users</h2>

<p>To update system apps you can do it through the system apps updater going to <em>Settings&gt;System apps updater.</em></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="//1081754738.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up06-473x1024.jpg" alt="System apps updater" class="wp-image-23767" width="355" height="768" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up06-473x1024.jpg 473w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up06-138x300.jpg 138w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up06-768x1664.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up06-709x1536.jpg 709w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up06-945x2048.jpg 945w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up06-696x1508.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up06-1068x2314.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Up06.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 355px) 100vw, 355px" /><figcaption>System apps updater</figcaption></figure>

<p>Hello! Microsoft&#8217;s product update policy is well known. That is, they are programmed to receive updates periodically and install them automatically. This mechanism is very useful for desktop systems, since it avoids making manual searches for updates. However, in the server environment this can have non-functional consequences. Since some of these updates may cause the system to reboot. In addition, rebooting the server is critical, since many services, processes and folders depend on server activity. Well, in today&#8217;s post we&#8217;ll see how to disable automatic updates in Windows Server 2019/2016.</p>

<h2>How to disable automatic updates in Windows Server 2019/2016</h2>

<p>All right, to do this you need to enter the server settings. With this intention, press the Win+X combination and launch a PowerShell with administrator privileges.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="268" height="615" src="//1723336065.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up.png" alt="Launch a PowerShell with administrator privileges." class="wp-image-21274" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up.png 268w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up-131x300.png 131w" sizes="(max-width: 268px) 100vw, 268px" /><figcaption>Launch a PowerShell with administrator privileges.</figcaption></figure>

<p>Then execute the following command:</p>

<pre class="wp-block-preformatted">SCONFIG</pre>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="192" src="//1723336065.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up2-1-1024x192.png" alt="" class="wp-image-21276" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up2-1-1024x192.png 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up2-1-300x56.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up2-1-768x144.png 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up2-1-696x130.png 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up2-1-1068x200.png 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up2-1.png 1366w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Pressing enter will display an options console to manage the system parameters.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="354" src="//1723336065.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up3-1024x354.png" alt="PowerShell running the server configuration." class="wp-image-21277" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up3-1024x354.png 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up3-300x104.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up3-768x265.png 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up3-696x240.png 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up3-1068x369.png 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/up3.png 1366w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>PowerShell running the server configuration.</figcaption></figure>

<p>Below are the available options:</p>

<ul><li><strong>A: Automatic</strong>. This sets up Windows Update to automatically download and install updates on your computer</li><li><strong>D: Download Only.</strong> With this option, the updates will be downloaded, but will not be installed on the server. Consequently, the user will decide when to install it.</li><li><strong>M: Manual.</strong> This is one of the most ideal options since no available updates will be downloaded. In effect, the administrator will determine when to download and install any updates. </li></ul>

<p>In this case, please enable this option. With this in mind, enter the letter M and press Enter. The change will be applied immediately. Back to the previous screen, press the number 5, and validate that the updates are now manual.</p>
