<p>Hi, how are you? Windows 10 has been designed to offer multiple solutions at the work level. Consequently, it offers several solutions for performance challenges. In fact, its use goes beyond a simple desktop system. Because through it, various alternatives are offered. For example, it is possible to easily configure a <a href="https://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/mobile-hotspot" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="mobile hotspot (opens in a new tab)">mobile hotspot</a>. This tool turns the computer into a wireless network center. So it is possible to replicate the computer&#8217;s Wi-Fi connection. The result is that your Windows 10 computer becomes a wireless router. This allows other devices to access the Internet. Well, in this post we will see how to create a mobile hotspot in Windows 10.</p>

<h2>How to configure the mobile hotspot in Windows 10</h2>

<p>As mentioned above, Windows 10 incorporates the features of the mobile access point. This novelty allows the system to become a Wi-Fi Hotspot. So it is possible to connect up to 8 devices to the network. In order to activate and configure this feature, it is necessary to enter the Windows configuration. With this intention, press the combination Windows + I. Once there, enter <strong>Network &amp; Internet</strong></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/hot.png" alt="" class="wp-image-1540"/><figcaption>Enter to Network &amp; Internet</figcaption></figure>

<p>On the next screen, scroll down to the <strong>Mobile hotspot</strong>. Then activate the switch to enable the feature. Also, in the field below, choose which connection to share. You can also edit the connection values. Such as name and password.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/hot8.png" alt="Set up the network." class="wp-image-1541"/><figcaption>Set up the network.</figcaption></figure>

<p>You can immediately see the available network connection.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/hot9.png" alt="Hotspot Mobile connection is available. " class="wp-image-1543"/><figcaption>Hotspot Mobile connection is available. </figcaption></figure>

<h2>How to configure the mobile access point using Command Prompt</h2>

<p>If you&#8217;re a terminal enthusiast, then this option is for you. Windows 10 also allows you to configure the mobile hotspot through the Command Prompt. With this in mind, please type CMD into the search bar, and run it as an administrator.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/hot10.png" alt="Run a CMD as an administrator." class="wp-image-1545"/><figcaption>Run a CMD as an administrator.</figcaption></figure>

<p>Then execute the following command:</p>

<pre class="wp-block-preformatted">netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=nameofthenetwork key=password</pre>

<p>Please remember to enter the network name and assign the password.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/hot6.png" alt="Set the network name and password." class="wp-image-1546"/><figcaption>Set the network name and password.</figcaption></figure>

<p>Once you&#8217;ve set up the network, it&#8217;s time to start it up. To do this, please run this command:</p>

<pre class="wp-block-preformatted"> netsh wlan start hostednetwork </pre>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/hot7.png" alt="Launch the hosted network" class="wp-image-1548"/><figcaption>Launch the hosted network</figcaption></figure>

<p>And now the network is available and ready to connect.</p>

<h2>Conclusion</h2>

<p>Finally, we have seen how to create a mobile hotspot in Windows 10. This feature allows you to configure a Windows 10 device as a wireless router. Consequently, several devices can be connected to this network. All right, that&#8217;s it for now, before I say goodbye I invite you to see our post about the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="ram diagnostic tool (opens in a new tab)" href="https://windowsmen.com/run-ram-diagnostic-tool-in-windows-10/" target="_blank">ram diagnostic tool</a> in Windows 10. <p>Hi, how are you? <a href="https://www.android.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Android (opens in a new tab)">Android </a>devices offer more than just a smartphone. In fact, these devices offer a great number of functions, among them the ability to share the internet with a computer. This is a very interesting option for PCs that do not have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. As mentioned, it is a reliable method that only needs a USB cable. On the other hand, it gives a more stable and secure connection. Additionally, it allows you to connect to those computers without Wi-Fi connectivity. For that reason, today we will see how to share internet from Android to a PC with a USB cable. </p>

<h2>How to share the internet from Android with a USB cable.</h2>

<p>Before starting the process it is necessary to have an Android device and its respective USB cable. On the other hand, this is a simple process. The hard part is getting the option in the system, and that each manufacturer adds its own layer of customization. But in general, the first thing you have to do is get into the settings. Once you&#8217;re there, you go to <strong>Connections and Sharing</strong>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/teth3-492x1024.png" alt="Go to connections and sharing." class="wp-image-1505"/><figcaption>Go to connections and sharing.</figcaption></figure>

<p>Then connect the USB cable to the phone and the computer. Wait a few moments while the device is recognized. Then activate the switch under <strong>USB tethering.</strong> </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/teth4-690x1024.png" alt="Activate USB Tethering" class="wp-image-1507"/><figcaption>Activate USB Tethering</figcaption></figure>

<p>Please wait a moment while the connection is being set up. After a few moments, Windows will display the message about connection privacy. This shows that the network is working properly</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped"><ul class="blocks-gallery-grid"><li class="blocks-gallery-item"><figure><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/teth.png" alt="" data-id="1509" data-full-url="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/teth.png" data-link="https://windowsmen.com/?attachment_id=1509" class="wp-image-1509"/></figure></li><li class="blocks-gallery-item"><figure><img src="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/teth2.png" alt="" data-id="1510" data-full-url="https://windowsmen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/teth2.png" data-link="https://windowsmen.com/?attachment_id=1510" class="wp-image-1510"/></figure></li></ul><figcaption class="blocks-gallery-caption">Windows 10 configuring the internet connection from Android</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Tip: Activate the metered use connection.</h2>
