<p>Hello! Windows 10 is a very easy-to-use system. Indeed, most of its functions are easy to access. In addition, the process of adding programs is usually easy. However, sometimes these programs are exclusive to a specific type of Windows. Either by the version or by type of architecture. Therefore, sometimes we wonder: How to find out which Windows I have? Well, today we will learn how to know which <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Windows </a>is installed on the computer.</p>

<h2>How to find out which version of Windows is installed on your PC</h2>

<p>It is a well-known fact that Microsoft releases new<a href="https://www.osradar.com/microsoft-will-offer-windows-10-21h2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> versions </a>of Windows 10. Also to solve problems that have arisen. However, not all users install these new versions. So some features are limited. Similarly, some programs only work with specific versions of the operating system. Consequently, it is advisable to know this information. On the other hand, it is good to know the type of architecture supported by the processor. Well, let&#8217;s see several ways to do it.</p>

<h3>How to know which Windows I have using the winver command</h3>

<p>The most expedient way is through the <em>winver </em>command. This command immediately displays information about the version of the System that is running. The first thing you have to do is to invoke the run box. With this in mind, press the Win+R combination. Once there, just run the <em>winver </em>command:</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="399" height="206" src="//1081754738.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/ver.png" alt="" class="wp-image-31126" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/ver.png 399w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/ver-300x155.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px" /></figure>

<p>A window with all the information related to the Windows version will be displayed immediately. Such as the build and version of the operating system.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="460" height="423" src="//1081754738.rsc.cdn77.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/ver2.png" alt="winver command showing what version of Windows I have" class="wp-image-31127" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/ver2.png 460w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/ver2-300x276.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px" /><figcaption>winver command showing what version of Windows I have</figcaption></figure>
