Greetings friends! Spotify has a rather curious feature that is not often taken into account. At least not as much as it should be. In case you haven’t heard yet, Spotify has its own QR codes. For each of the songs available on the streaming music platform. Nowadays the popularity of QR codes is on the rise. This feature is dedicated to facilitating the sharing of your favorite songs in a more aesthetic and visually appealing way. Leaving aside the classic links. So, in this post, we will show you how to generate and scan Spotify QR codes on your Android phone. I also include a method to do the same thing on a PC. If you also want to take advantage of the web version of Spotify and achieve the same result. Read on to find out!

How to generate Spotify QR codes from your Android phone

Spotify QR codes are a quick and easy way to share music with others. These codes can be scanned with your phone’s camera or the Spotify app, and take you directly to the song, album, artist, or playlist you want to share.

Creating the Spotify code for your favorite song from your mobile is very easy. All you have to do is follow these steps:

First step

Open the Spotify app and search for the song you want to generate the code for.

Spotify app

Second step

Then click on the options button to the right of the song.

click on the options button to the right of the song

Third step

After that, scroll down until you find the “Show Spotify code” option and press on it. Finally, you will get the code of the song which you can save with a screenshot.

Show Spotify code

QR

How to create Spotify codes from your computer

Although the Spotify PC application doesn’t have a built-in function to create codes like the mobile one, this doesn’t mean you can’t do it from your computer. There is a website that generates Spotify codes for free so you can use it:

Open the Spotify application on your PC and search for the song you want the code for.

Press the options button>Share>Copy song link.

Now, open the Spotify Codes website and paste the link in the box.

Finally, click on Get Spotify Code and the Spotify code will be created and you can download it by clicking on Download.

Conclusion

As you may have noticed the process is quite simple and fast. A Spotify option that we invite you to try. To greatly improve the way you share the music you usually listen to every day. Also scanning the code works excellently and quickly loads the song that was shared. Finally, if you were left with the desire to generate a QR code from your PC remember that you can also do it the important thing is to have several options. And that the result is satisfactory. Thanks for reading us. Goodbye!

Hello friends! The algorithm used by Spotify for shuffle playback uses a feature. Which tends to play the same song over and over again. Luckily there is a trick to fix this and be able to play more songs in your playlists. Spotify updated support for Android 13 recently to go hand in hand with all the improvements made with this major update. Of all the possibilities offered by the service, random playlists have a small drawback that can be corrected with this cool trick. In this post, we’ll show you how to prevent songs from repeating in Spotify.

Playlist with many songs

The problem is that Spotify’s playlist shuffle algorithm ends up using the same songs one after another. This is because it uses cached data in the mobile to store them. And in playlists with multiple songs, the last saved ones will be played and not all of them will be playable. With this trick for Spotify, you will be able to listen to the entire playlist in random order and thus not play them in this almost endless loop.

First step

To begin with, the best thing to do is to make sure you have the latest version of Spotify installed on your device. That will help you keep up to date with all the latest news and recently added features. You can check if you have the latest version by following this link:

Google Play | Spotify: Music and Podcasts

Google Play

Second step

Then launch the Spotify app and tap the nut icon to go to “Settings”.

Spotify app

Third step

After that, swipe down until you find the storage section and select the “Clear cache” option. This action will clear the cache, but not all the song downloads that you usually use to work in offline mode.

How to prevent songs from repeating in Spotify

Note that the settings will return to their initial point as the cache is automatically restored over time. So it is a good idea to clear it from time to time to have a playlist with many varied songs and not play the same songs all the time. This is recommended to improve the performance of Spotify. Also to be able to enjoy all the playlists, which are often used more than ever.

What’s new in Spotify for Android 13

Spotify has released a new update for its Android application that includes several new features and improvements for users. Here are some of the most notable features:

Offline mode: you can now download up to 10,000 songs on one device and listen to them without an Internet connection. Alternatively, you can choose your preferred audio quality to save space or enjoy the clearer sound.

Custom Library: you can organize your music by artist, album, playlist, or podcast and access them easily from the Library tab. You can also create folders to group your favorite contents and sort them by name, date, or importance.

Voice control: by simply saying “Hey Spotify”, you can ask the application to play a song, artist, album, playlist, or podcast. You can also control the volume, pause, resume, or skip tracks with your voice.

Integration with Google Maps: if you use Google Maps for navigation, you can view and control Spotify playback from the same screen. So you can choose the track that will accompany you on your journey without distracting you from the route.

Car mode: if you connect your phone to your car’s audio system, Spotify’s car mode is automatically activated, which makes using the application simpler and safer when driving. You will be able to zoom in on the album cover, use the large buttons, and access voice control.

These are just some of the new features of the Spotify for Android 13 update. To enjoy all of them, just update the app from the Google Play or Spotify’s official website. Thanks for reading. Bye!

Hello friends! YouTube Music is a music streaming service that gathers more and more users. Because paying the subscription we access YouTube Premium and Music at no additional cost. Although if you do not use the service, there are other alternatives. For example, Amazon Music has been postulated as a more than recommendable service to migrate to. One of the clearest advantages of YouTube. It allows us to play videos or music with the application in the background. So if you are thinking of changing the application or you have already moved. You have one more step left: move your playlists to YouTube Music. Fortunately, we can use a website that makes our life easier. Although you may prefer to do it from your phone. In this post, we’ll show you how to move playlists from Spotify to YouTube Music on Android.

Soundiiz helps you migrate your playlists for free

The easiest way to move Spotify playlists to YouTube Music is to use a website that makes all the work easier for us. This one is called Soundiiz, a website created to make the process as fast and straightforward as possible. The site shows us a tutorial on us to use the tool correctly. We can subscribe to the service to be able to pass several lists at once and manage your artists, songs, or albums. However, it is not necessary to pay a penny. The limits of the free account are as follows:

We can only transfer one list at a time.

The list cannot exceed 200 songs.

It does not have active synchronization, that is, if we add more songs to any list, they will not be synchronized between platforms.

We cannot export lists locally.

Fewer possible actions: no possibility to merge lists, replace songs between lists, mix the order or insert metadata.

How to transfer your Spotify playlists to YouTube Music

To start transferring your playlists to the new service, you must first log in with your user on the web, you can create a new account or use your Google account. Once you are logged in, the following screen is displayed. On the left side, you have a menu to connect to the different compatible streaming services. If you want to move Spotify playlists to YouTube Music we must log in to both accounts. It’s as easy as:

Tap on YouTube Music and then tap on “Connect”

First, you must enter the user account.

Then you do the same with your Spotify account, repeating the same process.

Hi! The way we listen to music has changed over the years. Some time ago, with the physical format such as vinyl, cassette, or CD. However, everything has evolved to the possibility of listening to it in a file, or via streaming. On the other hand, if you were a Spotify user, surely at some point you will have missed the possibility to download the songs. Therefore, we can play them on any device we want. Certainly, Spotify is one of the most popular platforms, with more than 50 million songs available for both computers and cell phones. In addition, the service has a free version that allows us to listen to music randomly, in exchange for listening to ads every certain period of time. Today, we will learn how to download songs from Spotify free.

Spotify Premium allows song downloads

As mentioned, the free version allows you to play songs with certain limitations. However, it does not allow downloading songs for later playback. In this case, this function is limited to Premium accounts. A personal account with this plan is available starting at $5.99 per month. Additionally, it offers other benefits such as enjoying its entire catalog from the menu, without interruptions from commercials, with the highest sound quality and the possibility of downloading our favorite music. However, this also has its difference. In effect, we will be able to listen to the songs offline. However, we will not be able to have those songs in files to save them or play them from another device. Consequently, we will only be able to listen to them from the application, even if we do not have an Internet connection.

Obviously, these restrictions come from the platform itself to prevent abuse by users. This system works in the same way as Netflix, which allows downloading videos, but only to be played on the official client itself. Consequently, even if we have a premium subscription, we will not be able to save our music on another device. Consequently, if you want to download songs from Spotify, you will have to use third-party solutions.

Programs for downloading and saving Spotify tracks

As we mentioned, these are applications outside the music platform itself. Consequently, their feature is that they allow you to download Spotify content for local playback. Consequently, let’s see some of the most used options.

Spotydl, download songs from Spotify for free

To download songs from Spotify to our computer, we can use an application like Spotydl. This tool allows us to get our favorite songs in MP3 format. Besides, its interface has a reasonable resemblance with Spotify. We will be able to import complete playlists and download all the songs that it incorporates. To accomplish this, it will only be necessary to paste the URL of the playlist to start downloading. In addition, it allows simultaneous downloading from many websites and has full YouTube integration.

DeezLoader, download songs from various platforms

This application has been developed so that we can download songs from online music streaming services such as Apple Music, Deezer. Of course, it also has support for Spotify. With it, we can download songs from these services to convert them to MP3 and FLAC format. In addition, it has a simple-to-use interface, an integrated search engine for music and the ability to download files in batches. From the program, we’re able to configure the name with which the files are saved and where to place them on our PC, as well as create folders by albums or artist. It is compatible with Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android and iOS mobiles.

Spotify & Deezer Music Downloader, download music with this extension

In this case, we are not talking about a web or an application for our desktop but an extension for Chrome. With it, we can download songs from Spotify easily. Once installed in our browser, we just need to open the Spotify web player, and we will see how to the right of each song we will find a Download button, from which we can download the song in MP3 44.1kHz. The application allows us to upload individual tracks as well as playlists, podcasts, and albums. It will also be possible to download songs from other streaming music services such as Deezer and SoundCloud.

Sidify Spotify Music Converter, download songs and burn them to CDs

With this program you can download and save Spotify songs for free. It supports different output formats such as MP3, WAV, AAC and FLAC. It also keeps the partial ID3 tags, including the cover. Its interface is simple and easy to use, aimed at all types of users, regardless of their level of experience. Its features also include the ability to burn music directly to CD. It is also possible to send it by e-mail and the possibility to perform batch downloads. Converting is as simple as dragging and dropping the song or playlist or copying its URL. This program is available for free from the developer’s website. Although it also has a Premium version with additional features for just under $15 per month.

Hello, friends. For people who like music, one of the first things we do when we first install any Linux distribution is to install Spotify. So, in this post, I will show you how to do it in two fairly simple ways.

Spotify is an online music service that allows us through a monthly fee to enjoy the huge catalog it has. It has applications for almost all operating systems including our beloved Debian 11 And I’m not kidding when I say that this is one of the first things many of us do when installing a new distribution.

Spotify’s clean Spotify application is quite good. It allows us to browse through the entire application catalog quickly and easily. Also, we can play music, add favorites, and do everything that the web version allows us.

Oh, in case I forgot, with Spotify, we will also have at our disposal many podcasts of all possible topics. So let’s go for it.

Install Spotify on Debian 11

For Debian 11 we have several installation methods that we can take advantage of. One of them is through APT. For this, we add the Spotify repository and from there the installation.

On the other hand, we have the Flatpak package that allows us to isolate it from the system and this method not only works for Debian 11 but any distribution.

Let’s start.

Installing Spotify using the repository

In this process, we need to add the repository to our system. To do this, open a terminal and first update Debian

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

Now download and add the GPG key from the repository to the system.

curl -sS https://download.spotify.com/debian/pubkey_0D811D58.gpg | sudo apt-key add -

Next, add the Spotify repository to the system

echo "deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/spotify.list

Now, refresh APT

sudo apt update

And install Spotify by running:

sudo apt install spotify-client

After the installation is finished you can run it from the main menu.

Install Spotify on Debian 11 via Flatpak

The second method is to use the super reliable Flatpak. So, first, install it on the system

sudo apt install flatpak

Now add the Flathub repository which is where the Spotify package is hosted.

sudo flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

And then install Spotify

sudo flatpak install flathub com.spotify.Client

Finally, run it from the main menu.
