Access notifications, even if you have deleted them

From time to time, Netflix sends you notifications about new content. That it’s coming to the platform or content that will arrive soon. And it would not be at all strange that you have deleted more than one and more than two such notifications unintentionally.

• Click on your profile picture.
• Click on Notifications.

If you want to take a look at everything Netflix has notified you. It is a very useful option with which you will not regret having quickly hit delete.

Configure downloads and data usage

You can download many of the movies and series that are on Netflix to watch them without spending mobile data or when you have no connection. However, you also have the option to enable downloads with mobile data.

• Click on your profile picture.
• Click on Settings.

You can also manage the video quality of the downloads and their location. Since you can save them to external storage, which is the most recommended!

Take a closer look at your list

Normally, a row appears in the main Netflix feed to access the My List section. But you can open it so you can browse what you feel like watching quietly and with more space, taking up the entire screen.

• Click on your profile picture.
• Click on My list.

It’s something that may seem silly, but it helps you search better and not accidentally tap on other recommended titles in adjacent rows.

Netflix stories are more useful than they seem

Yes, as surreal as it sounds, Netflix has a section for stories in true Instagram style. But these are not videos of users, but fragments of movies, series, or documentaries.

To access you have to click on the emoji icon in the bottom bar, and once there, you only have to slide down to see other fragments. This way, you can have a small preview shorter than a trailer.

Check out the premieres and make the app alert you

Another section that I find interesting is the premieres section, as there are times when you can find things you want to see and set alerts so you don’t miss their release.

To access it, you will have to go to the media page in the bottom menu bar of the app, and by pressing the bell button.
