How to download NetBeans for Windows 10

As mentioned, this program is free. So just go to the project download page and select the executable file. At the time of writing, the most recent version is Netbeans 12.0. After downloading the file, just run it as another installable for Windows. At the beginning of the process, it is possible to customize the installation. That is, it is possible to select the elements to be installed. However, this time we will install all the available components.

Next you can set the automatic update of the plugins while they are installed.

Then, the installation process will begin. Please wait a few moments while the process is completed.

Launching the first project with NetBeans.

After the installation is completed, we are ready to use the environment for the first time. With this in mind, just look for the program in the start menu.

We can integrate the Javadoc into Netbeans in two ways. First, we can download all the documentation from this link. This is convenient if you do not have a great connection frequently or simply don’t depend a lot on the internet. The other way is to add the URL of the documentation.

Open Netbeans and click on the Tools menu. Next, click on the Java Plattforms option.

Then you will see on the left side the Java versions that are installed and added in Netbeans. In this case, I only have Java 12 that we taught to install recently. When you click on the Java version, in the middle, there will be the Javadoc tab, click on it and if you downloaded the Javadoc click on Add Zip/Folder. If you will do it directly from the website, click on Add URL. And add the corresponding Javadoc URL.

2. Copy and Paste History

We’ve all had to pull the “Copy and paste” at some point, and the developers didn’t escape that. Simple comments or fragments of code are copied and pasted frequently, but as you know when you turn off the computer that information disappears.
