We have verified that the method below works with Google TV Chromecast and almost any Android TV and can run the ADB server through tcpip port.</p>

<h2>Enabling Developer Options on your Google TV</h2>



<p>Developer options on Google TV are enabled as follows:</p>



<ul><li>Turn on your TV or device with Google TV and on the home screen tap your profile icon located in the top right corner.</li><li>Go to &#8220;<em>Settings</em>&#8220;.</li><li>Go to the &#8220;<em>System&#8221; </em>option.</li><li>Select <em>&#8220;About&#8221;</em>.</li><li>Press about 7 times in a row the <em>&#8220;Android TV OS Build&#8221;</em> option until it says you are already a developer.</li><li>Go back to the System section and scroll down to find Developer Options or Developer Options. Select them and make sure they are enabled.</li></ul>

<h2>Enable USB Debugging on your TV</h2>



<p>With developer mode enabled, go to <em>Settings&gt;System&gt;Developer Options</em>. Finally, enable the <em>&#8220;USB debugging&#8221;</em> option.</p>

<h2>Enable Display over other apps and Accessibility on your TV</h2>



<p>The next step for the Zank remote app to work properly is to enable 2 permissions. Which you will have to enable manually from your Google TV settings. Follow the steps below:</p>



<p>The first one you need to enable is <em>&#8220;Allow Display over other apps&#8221;</em>. To enable it to go to <em>Settings&gt;Privacy&gt;Special app access&gt;Display over other apps</em>. Then enable the option for <em>&#8220;Zank remote&#8221;</em>.</p>

<p>Finally, enable <em>Accessibility</em>. To enable it to go to <em>Settings&gt;System&gt;Accessibility.</em> Then, in the services section enable the option for <em>&#8220;Zank remote&#8221;</em>.</p>

<h2>Establish the connection between the two devices</h2>



<p>Once the TV setup is complete, open the <em>&#8220;Zank remote&#8221;</em> app on your TV.</p>

<p>Then open the app on your phone and tap the magnifying glass icon to search by IP address for your TV.</p>
