<p><a href="https://www.osradar.com/5-tricks-to-avoid-phishing-and-getting-robbed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Security</a> breaches are the order of the day: Therefore, a good practice for Internet users is to change their passwords frequently. In addition, they should be strong and difficult to guess. It is also advisable to keep an eye out for phishing messages from different platforms trying to get us to provide the information. To try to keep these threats at bay, Google has started to promote this free security feature that you can activate now in your Gmail account.</p>

<p><a href="https://mail.google.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google </a>has a feature in Chrome called Enhanced Safe Browsing. This is used to predict threats before they take place. Therefore, it allows users to be warned when their credentials are exposed. This feature was already present in Chrome. However, Google has now implemented and started to promote it in Gmail. So, it is likely that in the last few days you have received a warning when logging into your Gmail account. It does not matter if it is from the browser or from the app on your mobile or tablet. If you activated it when it appeared, congratulations. If you acted out of inertia and tapped on the <em>No thanks</em>, no problem. Actually, what it does is to speed up the process to activate the protection against potentially dangerous websites, downloads, and extensions.</p>

<h2>How to activate the protection against phishing in your Gmail email</h2>

<p>If you want to add an extra layer of security against phishing and other types of fraud attempts, we tell you how to do it step by step. The procedure is simple. Moreover, it takes less than a minute to activate, and you only need to perform a couple of actions.</p>

<ul><li>It is possible to activate it directly. To do so, click on the following link. This will take you to the <strong>Enhanced Safe Browsing for your account</strong> page and activate it.</li></ul>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="512" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gm-1024x512.png" alt="" class="wp-image-39425" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gm-1024x512.png 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gm-300x150.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gm-768x384.png 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gm-696x348.png 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gm-1068x534.png 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gm.png 1313w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<ul><li>If your browser is Google Chrome, then copy into the address bar this command: <strong>chrome://settings/security</strong>. When you are inside, select <strong>Enhanced Protection</strong> versus <strong>Standard Protection</strong>.</li><li>If you are on mobile, open the Chrome app and tap on the three dots. Then go to<strong> Settings >Privacy and security</strong>. Next, go to <strong>Safe browsing</strong>, where all the available security options will be displayed, such as standard and unprotected protection, as well as <strong>Enhanced protection</strong>, which is the one we are interested in activating.</li></ul>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="485" height="1024" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gmail-485x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-39426" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gmail-485x1024.jpg 485w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gmail-142x300.jpg 142w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/gmail.jpg 606w" sizes="(max-width: 485px) 100vw, 485px" /></figure>

<p>Note that this is an account setting and not a device setting. Therefore, bear in mind that regardless of where you activate it, it will be operational on the others. If you use Gmail or Chrome, it is an extra measure of protection that you should take advantage of. You should join it with others, such as two-factor authentication. Also consider that this setting also provides detailed information about your browsing habits, linked to your account. However, Google explains that this data becomes anonymous after a period of time.</p>

<p>Also, if you wish, you can set this backup to run periodically. So that you always have an up-to-date copy of your emails. You should note that the format in which they are saved is <em>.mbox</em>, which means that you cannot read them as if they were plain text files, but you can use third-party applications to study them.</p>

<p>Now that your email is safe, you can soon delete emails you think you won&#8217;t need to free up space for new emails in your inbox or use it in a service or other Google services.</p>

<h2>How to use the Windows MBox Viewer application to open a file with the .mbox extension</h2>

<p>A file with the .mbox extension is an email storage format used by some programs such as Thunderbird or Eudora. To open .mbox files in Windows, you can use the free MBox Viewer application, which allows you to view the contents of messages and export them to other formats. The steps for using MBox Viewer are as follows:</p>

<ul><li>Download and install<em> &#8220;MBox Viewer&#8221;</em> from its<a href="https://sourceforge.net/projects/mbox-viewer/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> official website</a>.</li><li>Run the program and click the <em>&#8220;Open&#8221;</em> button to select the <em>.mbox</em> file you want to open.</li><li>Wait for the program to load the messages and display them in a list sorted by date, sender, subject, and size.</li><li>Double-click on a message to view its contents in a separate window, where you can access attachments, headers, and the message source code.</li><li>Use the<em> &#8220;File&#8221;</em> menu to export messages to other formats such as PDF, HTML, TXT, or EML, or to save attachments to a folder.</li></ul>

<p>Finally, close the program when you have finished working with the <em>.mbox</em> file. And that&#8217;s it! Thanks for reading bye!</p>

<p>Spam or junk mail is undoubtedly one of the main problems when using <a href="https://www.osradar.com/how-to-create-an-email-without-registration/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">e-mail.</a> It can be desperate to see how every day the inbox is flooded with these e-mails that we do not want. However, why does this happen? Why is it that sometimes the mailbox can become more and more full of Spam? We are going to explain the main reasons for this. In addition, we will give you some tips to prevent this from happening. Stay reading to learn more about Email Spam.</p>

<h2>What causes Spam to arrive in the mail</h2>

<p>Having junk mail in your inbox is not uncommon. However, when this number increases considerably, we should be concerned. We should think about what could have happened to constantly receive so many Spam e-mails. Theoretically, it is an annoying situation. However, it can also lead to security problems. Beyond whether Spam is dangerous or not, what is certain is that it is going to harm us when the inbox is full. There are several reasons why we will have problems:</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="512" height="512" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/spam.png" alt="" class="wp-image-35891" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/spam.png 512w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/spam-300x300.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/spam-150x150.png 150w" sizes="(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px" /></figure>

<ul><li>It wastes our time</li><li>It generates less productivity in a company</li><li>Stress and fatigue by having to constantly delete mails</li><li>It can cause us to overlook important emails</li></ul>

<p>Let&#8217;s take a look at some of the habits that contribute to the increase in the arrival of Spam.</p>

<h3>Make public the address</h3>

<p>One reason why so much Spam arrives in the inbox is by making the e-mail address public. This happens, for example, when sending a message in an Internet forum. We may leave the address written there and that is a problem, since anyone could see it. This also includes bots that can crawl the network to register mails.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="512" height="512" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/sp2.png" alt="" class="wp-image-35893" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/sp2.png 512w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/sp2-300x300.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/sp2-150x150.png 150w" sizes="(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px" /></figure>

<p>Something similar happens when we post a comment on a web page or give too much information on social networks. In these cases, our address may also end up in the wrong hands and that will be a problem in terms of privacy. They will start flooding the inbox with spam.</p>

<h3>Registering on insecure sites</h3>

<p>Of course, the sites where you register are also going to be an entry point for spam emails. If you create an account on an unreliable site, which may use your data for advertising purposes, then your inbox could be flooded with Spam and pose a real problem.</p>

<p>The same can be said of an application you install that requests your data, for example. In these cases, it could also be putting you on a list or Spam campaigns and your e-mail address could be harmed.</p>

<h3>Accept promotions</h3>

<p>You can also end up on a Spam list for having accepted certain conditions when installing a program or promotions through social networks. Even by registering in a public Wi-Fi network, you could be accepting that your data will be used for advertising purposes, even if you do not know it.</p>

<p>This is a common problem, since there are many occasions in which we accept terms without really reading them thoroughly. In numerous instances, we may be agreeing to receive advertising through e-mail.</p>

<h3>Using a supplier with a bad filter</h3>

<p>Another thing to consider is the type of <a href="https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">email </a>you use. Most of them will have a filter to detect junk mails that are a problem. It will automatically send them to the Spam folder. However, you may be using a provider that does not have a good filter, and that is the reason.</p>

<p>If you use an e-mail provider that is not reliable, that does not have a good anti-spam configuration, you could see your inbox flooded without you doing anything. It would not divert the junk mail. In short, as you can see, there are different reasons why your inbox may fill up with Spam. Whatever the reason, you should always mark these emails as junk emails and do not send them to the main inbox.</p>

<h2>How to avoid spam</h2>

<p>After explaining the main causes of Spam, we are going to give you some tips on how to avoid junk mail. Some steps you can take to protect your e-mail address and reduce those annoying e-mails that do not contribute anything and can even become a problem.</p>

<h3>Use multiple accounts</h3>

<p>One option you can consider is to use different email accounts. This way, you will reduce the risk of getting junk mail and flooding your inbox. You can have each of them for a well-defined function, and thus limit their functions and not expose them more than necessary. Use the following guide to create accounts:</p>

<ul><li>E-mail for work: this way you separate your work life from your personal life and avoid filling up your spam folder.</li><li>Personal or private e-mail: this is the e-mail that you will use for your personal life, to receive and send e-mails to friends, family, companies, etc. Here you can include purchases you make on the net, reliable forums, etc.</li><li>E-mail for less reliable matters: a third option would be to create an e-mail for everything that is not reliable. For example, registering on a web page that you do not trust, using a program that is not secure, etc. This way you will avoid affecting your personal account.</li></ul>

<h3>Taking care of your personal information</h3>

<p>Of course, it is essential to take care of your personal information. You should avoid exposing your email account more than necessary. For example, do not make public the address in open forums or web pages that can be read by anyone and then include you in a Spam campaign without your permission.</p>

<p>This also includes social networks and the use you are going to make of them. You should not expose your accounts or information publicly. This would allow anyone to see what you have posted on Facebook, for example, and that includes your email address.</p>

<h3>Avoid registering on dubious sites</h3>

<p>Whenever you are going to register on a website or any online platform, you should always make sure that it is really reliable. Otherwise, your personal data could be at risk and that includes your e-mail address as well. You could start receiving spam for this reason.</p>

<p>If you are going to register somewhere, and you don&#8217;t know whether it is reliable or not, you can always use an alternative to your main e-mail address. For example, you can have an address for these cases or even use a disposable email account, which expires after a while and once you have already registered. Ultimately we have seen how to avoid Spam in email. See you soon!</p>

In addition, this post is aimed at novice users so that they can have a complete working guide. However, those experienced users can also get some interesting info. Let&#8217;s not wait any longer, let&#8217;s see some great features to get the most out of Gmail.</p>

<h2>Choose the design of your inbox</h2>

<p>The first step in configuring Gmail to your liking is to customize the inbox. With this in mind, you need to go to the settings. Just click on the cogwheel icon. Consequently, you will see the available configuration options:</p>

<ul><li><strong>Density</strong>: Makes the rows of Gmail items more or less close together. So, you can choose to have everything a little closer together, so you can see more emails in the window. You can also separate it for a cleaner look.</li><li><strong>Inbox type:</strong> There are several inbox layouts depending on your needs. In addition to the default, you can have items such as priority items or unread mail appear at the top.</li><li><strong>Reading panel</strong>: It is possible to divide the screen into two sides. Consequently, on one side you will have the emails and on the other side the content of the email you click on. You can deactivate this, which is the default setting, or select to split the screen horizontally or vertically.</li><li><strong>Email threading: </strong>If this option is enabled, emails sharing the same subject will be grouped together.</li></ul>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="730" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm-1024x730.png" alt="Gmail web inbox configuration options" class="wp-image-34827" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm-1024x730.png 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm-300x214.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm-768x547.png 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm-696x496.png 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm-1068x761.png 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm.png 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Gmail web inbox configuration options</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Choose a custom theme</h2>

<p>With this option you can choose a theme to customize your Gmail page, as well as its wallpaper. Moreover, it is in the same menu. After clicking there, you can decide a theme from one of the wallpaper photos that Gmail offers you. If you want, you have a <em>My Photos </em>button to pick a photo you have on your computer.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="662" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm2-1024x662.jpg" alt="Setting a custom theme for Gmail webmail. " class="wp-image-34828" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm2-1024x662.jpg 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm2-300x194.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm2-768x497.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm2-696x450.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm2-1068x691.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm2.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Setting a custom theme for Gmail webmail.</figcaption></figure>

<h2> </h2>

<h2>Customize the inbox</h2>

<p>If you use the default layout, then you have a Customize button to define which tabs you want to appear at the top so that you can easily navigate between the different types of mail. You will then enter a screen where you can choose what to enable and what to disable.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="762" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm3-1024x762.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-34830" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm3-1024x762.jpg 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm3-300x223.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm3-768x571.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm3-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm3-696x518.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm3-1068x794.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm3-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm3.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>In this section you can choose from the predefined tabs, and you can add or remove several others to your inbox. You also have an option to have all highlighted messages automatically appear in the main tab. Finally, there is an option to delete all the tabs.</p>

<h2>Mark the highlighted e-mails</h2>

<p>Let&#8217;s be honest, a chaotic and cluttered inbox can be very annoying. As a result, it is possible to lose priority e-mails in the midst of all this clutter. Fortunately, Gmail allows you to label emails as featured. Natively, Gmail defines this option as <em>starred mails</em>. Consequently, it assigns a button on the left side of each email. However, the simplest option is to select the email and then check the star icon.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="762" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm4-1024x762.jpg" alt="Starred mails" class="wp-image-34831" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm4-1024x762.jpg 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm4-300x223.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm4-768x571.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm4-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm4-696x518.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm4-1068x794.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm4-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm4.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Starred mails</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Optimize mailings by assigning a label to them</h2>

<p>In accordance with the previous system, Gmail implements a label system. To do so, it uses the creation of labels to manually or automatically classify messages. With this in mind, please follow the path below: <strong>Settings>See all settings. </strong>Consequently, we will see the configuration screen. Now just click on the Labels tab. You will see all the labels pre-generated by Gmail, but underneath you will have the option to create new ones. When you click on it, you will only have to give it a name and, if you want it to belong to another one, activate the option Create new label: and choose which one.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="759" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm5-1024x759.jpg" alt="Managing labels in Gmail web" class="wp-image-34833" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm5-1024x759.jpg 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm5-300x222.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm5-768x569.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm5-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm5-696x516.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm5-1068x792.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm5.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Managing labels in Gmail web</figcaption></figure>

<p>We can also create some kind of sub-labels. So, let&#8217;s say we create one called Personal, then you can have several within that category such as Family, Projects or whatever you want. However, if what you want is to have a main tag, then you should not create anything additional. Just choose the name and start labeling the emails.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="763" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm6-1024x763.jpg" alt="Labeling a mail" class="wp-image-34835" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm6-1024x763.jpg 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm6-300x224.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm6-768x572.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm6-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm6-696x519.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm6-1068x796.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm6-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm6.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption> Labeling a mail </figcaption></figure>

<h2>Filters to automate tasks</h2>

<p>Gmail filters are a kind of commands that are executed when an email arrives that responds to some previously configured characteristics. For example, we can establish that every time an email arrives from a family member, then the Personal label is automatically set. This action can be done from the <em>Filters and Blocked Addresses tab of the Gmail settings menu.</em></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="523" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm7-1024x523.jpg" alt="Creating a new filter. " class="wp-image-34836" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm7-1024x523.jpg 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm7-300x153.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm7-768x392.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm7-696x356.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm7-1068x546.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm7.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Creating a new filter.</figcaption></figure>

<p>After clicking on Create filter, a new window opens to configure it to your liking. You can use an email sender, a recipient, or a subject. In addition, you can run on e-mails that have attachments or contain keywords. These would be the cases or criteria, and after setting them, you can choose the option to create a filter. Then you will go to the screen where you can configure what you want Gmail to do when you receive an email with the characteristics you have pointed out before. Actually, this is one of the best options to get the most out of Gmail.</p>

<h2>Block users or send them to spam</h2>

<p>Google&#8217;s algorithm works very well. Indeed, Gmail usually automatically detects most spam emails. However, a sender may be particularly annoying, and therefore you want to put it in that category. Here we can proceed in two different ways. First, we can send the email directly to the Spam folder. With this in mind, right-click on the email, go to Move to, and choose the Spam folder.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="760" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm8-1024x760.jpg" alt="Sending an email to the Spam folder" class="wp-image-34837" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm8-1024x760.jpg 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm8-300x223.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm8-768x570.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm8-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm8-696x517.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm8-1068x793.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm8-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm8.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Sending an email to the Spam folder</figcaption></figure>

<p>There is also another way to proceed, although this is more radical. In effect, we will be able to block a sender completely. This way, you will not receive any more emails from this person. With this intention, open the email and in the option to reply, please click on the 3 dots and choose block.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="765" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm9-1024x765.jpg" alt="Blocking a sender" class="wp-image-34838" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm9-1024x765.jpg 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm9-300x224.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm9-768x574.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm9-696x520.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm9-1068x798.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm9-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/gm9.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Blocking a sender</figcaption></figure>

<p>Ultimately, we&#8217;ve seen some great features to get the most out of Gmail. Bye!</p>

<p>E-mail is something fundamental for any Internet user. In fact, we use it to register on websites or online services. We also use it to keep in touch with companies, friends, or colleagues. We even use it to store information and have it always available. Likewise, we certainly have many options for creating an account. However, today we will see a different approach. Stay with us to learn how to create an email without registration.</p>

<h2>Why create an email without registration?</h2>

<p>One of the reasons for creating an e-mail without registration is to save time. Suppose you need to send information quickly or receive an urgent message. Then you don&#8217;t want to go through the registration process and fill in data. So by avoiding this, you save time. This is one of the main reasons. Another important reason is privacy. If you use your personal account or open an account with your data, then the recipient will know who we are. Consequently, he/she will be able to include us in a contact list. In short, they will be able to identify us easily.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="678" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail-1024x678.png" alt="" class="wp-image-34154" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail-1024x678.png 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail-300x199.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail-768x509.png 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail-696x461.png 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail-1068x707.png 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail.png 1190w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>On the other hand, <a href="https://www.osradar.com/how-to-get-a-temporary-phone-number-in-android/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">safety</a> is another interesting factor. This becomes relevant if we register in a site that does not inspire confidence. Consequently, it is a way to keep our address away from spam campaigns. Therefore, by creating an email address without registration, we will be able to use it in these cases.</p>

<h2>Options to create an email without registration</h2>

<p>Let&#8217;s see different methods to create an email without registration. The alternatives are different regarding privacy, security, or functionality. Therefore, it is up to you to choose the option that suits you best. However, all options agree on one point. Indeed, we will be able to create an email without registration. In this way, we will make it fast, simple and anonymous.</p>

<h2>Using a disposable email address.</h2>

<p>One of the most common options is to use a disposable or expiring email service. In reality, we will not enjoy a long-lasting email. So, we will not be able to use it permanently. Generally, these accounts have an expiration date. A practical use? They are used to registering on a site, receive the activation code and forget about that account.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="710" height="671" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail2.png" alt="" class="wp-image-34155" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail2.png 710w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail2-300x284.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail2-696x658.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 710px) 100vw, 710px" /></figure>

<p>There are many services like this one. However, we will try <a href="https://10minutemail.net/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">10minutemail.</a> This service allows you to generate an email quickly and without registration. Moreover, as the domain name suggests, the account will expire after 10 minutes. However, we can extend it up to 100 minutes. After this period of time, it is unusable. This is because when you enter the page after this period of time, you will see a new address with a new account.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="787" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail3-1024x787.png" alt="Generating an email without registration with 10minutemail" class="wp-image-34156" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail3-1024x787.png 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail3-300x231.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail3-768x590.png 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail3-696x535.png 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail3-1068x821.png 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail3.png 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Generating an email without registration with 10minutemail</figcaption></figure>

<p>In addition, we will have other options. Indeed, we will be able to copy the generated email. In addition, the inbox and the possibility of extending the counter are also displayed.</p>

<p>Another similar option is <a href="https://temp-mail.org/en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Temp Mail</a>. Its operation is very similar to the previous one. In fact, it is a service that allows you to quickly generate an email address without any registration. In addition, we will be able to receive emails for a certain period of time. As a result, we will save time and protect our privacy. This tool is also available for Android and iOS. Similar alternatives are <a href="https://www.guerrillamail.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GuerrillaMail </a>and <a href="https://www.5ymail.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">5ymail</a>.</p>

<h2>How to create additional accounts through Gmail</h2>

<p>Gmail is one of the most widely used email providers worldwide. It is widely used. In addition, it has several tricks that you may not know. One of them is the possibility to create other addresses from an existing Gmail account. Gmail is one of the most widely used email providers worldwide. It is widely used. In addition, it has numerous tricks that you may not know. One of them is the possibility to create other addresses from an existing Gmail account. So, the requirement is to have a previously registered Google account. From there, we can create as many as we want without any need for registration. For this, we have a couple of options.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="625" height="625" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail4.png" alt="" class="wp-image-34157" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail4.png 625w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail4-300x300.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail4-150x150.png 150w" sizes="(max-width: 625px) 100vw, 625px" /></figure>

<p>The first is to add a dot to a Gmail address. Suppose we have a Gmail address that is <strong>osradartest@gmail.com.</strong> In this case, we can create a different address. With this in mind, just add a dot anywhere in the account. For example: <strong>osradar.test@gmail.com. </strong>What is the reason for this? Well, basically because the dots have no effect on a Gmail address. In fact, we can put dots between the letters without any problem, since it is as if we were not putting anything. This way, we will alter the visual aspect as if it were a new email address. However, we will be managing it from the original address.</p>

<p>Another alternative is to create addresses based on the use of e +. This symbol allows you to generate new addresses from an existing one. Moreover, without having to register and without wasting time. It works in the same way as the previous example. Just add a + symbol anywhere in the email. Example: <strong>osradar+writers@gmail.com</strong></p>

<h2>Using an extension such as Burner Emails.</h2>

<p>Finally, we can use a browser extension to generate an email without registration. To accomplish this, we will use the Chrome extension Burner Email. Its mechanism is similar to that of disposable emails. It is completely free and can be downloaded from the browser&#8217;s <a href="https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/burner-emails-easy-fast-d/dnnmaoecogobjdiieopljefemjdkkaja" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">official store.</a></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="787" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail5-1024x787.jpg" alt="Extension to create emails without registration" class="wp-image-34158" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail5-1024x787.jpg 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail5-300x231.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail5-768x590.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail5-696x535.jpg 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail5-1068x821.jpg 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mail5.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Extension to create emails without registration</figcaption></figure>

<p>This extension allows you to easily create email addresses without registration. Its main function is to avoid Spam. It also avoids giving the real email account when registering on certain websites. Its advantage is that it allows to manage the accounts from the same web browser. In addition, you have the option to redirect emails to your personal email account. Okay, we have finally seen how to create an email without registration. An excellent option to improve the privacy of our data. See you soon!</p>

<ul><li>In this way, we will enter the second step. Specifically, the type of backing delivery. Indeed, there are several options. The first one is to send a download link via email. It is also possible to save it directly to Drive, DropBox, OneDrve or Box accounts.</li></ul>

<ul><li>After selecting the option, just click on <strong>Create Export.</strong></li></ul>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="787" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/gmail8-1024x787.png" alt="" class="wp-image-31872" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/gmail8-1024x787.png 1024w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/gmail8-300x231.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/gmail8-768x590.png 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/gmail8-696x535.png 696w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/gmail8-1068x821.png 1068w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/gmail8.png 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Hello! It is well known that <a href="https://mail.google.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Gmai</a>l is a daily work tool for many people. Certainly, the service receives new features every year. However, they often go unnoticed by some users. Moreover, Google&#8217;s email service has been with us for 16 years now. During all this time, it has evolved a lot. The current version is far from the original version we knew. In addition, with the daily hustle and bustle, it is difficult to keep up with the latest news. For example, Gmail has teamed up with Google Meet to manage video calls. On the other hand, Gmail is practically the gateway to most of the work tools offered by Google. Since from the inbox it is possible to access Google Calendar, the notes application and view the documents saved in Google Drive. Read on to find out how to improve productivity with these <a href="https://www.osradar.com/how-to-add-gmail-account-to-windows-10/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Gmail </a>features.</p>

<h2>Cancel sending an email</h2>

<p>We can all make mistakes. It is likely that the amount of work and haste will cause us to make mistakes. And therefore, we end up sending an email to the wrong person. This can be problematic because of the content of the information shared. The default time is for 5 seconds. In fact, this option is displayed on the screen. But maybe you didn&#8217;t know that it is possible to increase this time in the settings. Once inside the settings, please select the General tab. Then click on <strong>Undo send</strong>. You will see that it is possible to increase the time lapse up to 30 seconds.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="951" height="706" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail-1.jpg" alt="Configuring unsend mailing in Gmail" class="wp-image-28972" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail-1.jpg 951w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail-1-300x223.jpg 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail-1-768x570.jpg 768w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail-1-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail-1-696x517.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 951px) 100vw, 951px" /><figcaption>Configuring unsend mailing in Gmail</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Use two emails in one.</h2>

<p>Many people have two email accounts. A personal one and a work one. Certainly the apps on the phone or computer will notify you of both emails. However, it is cumbersome to switch between apps. So, the best thing to do is to link both accounts. In this way it is possible to switch between the two accounts. To do so, simply click on the Account image. Then click on <strong>Add another account.</strong></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="362" height="473" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail2.png" alt="Adding another email account in Gmail" class="wp-image-28973" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail2.png 362w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail2-230x300.png 230w" sizes="(max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px" /><figcaption>Adding another email account in Gmail</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Schedule an e-mail sending</h2>

<p>Just as you can stop sending an email, you can also schedule it. This is very useful to avoid sending info outside working hours for example. This is very practical to limit the indiscriminate sending of email. It is very easy to use this option. Once you have finished composing the email, do not press Send. Instead, click on the arrow next to it. Then, click on the <strong>Schedule Send</strong> button.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="610" height="611" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail4.png" alt="" class="wp-image-28974" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail4.png 610w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail4-300x300.png 300w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail4-150x150.png 150w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></figure>

<p>A table with possible scheduling dates will be displayed immediately. You can use them, or set your own date.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="319" height="264" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail5.png" alt="" class="wp-image-28975" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail5.png 319w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail5-300x248.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 319px) 100vw, 319px" /><figcaption>Scheduling the sending of an email.</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Organize mail with labels</h2>

<p>This function is very useful if you work with different projects. It is very productive to manage emails with different labels. In fact, Gmail allows you to assign a different label to each email and thus identify them more quickly. To create a new label, just right-click on the email. Then, scroll down to Label as. Once there, you can use the default labels. Or create a new custom value.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="668" height="597" src="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail6.png" alt="Labeling an email" class="wp-image-28976" srcset="https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail6.png 668w, https://www.osradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/gmail6-300x268.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 668px) 100vw, 668px" /><figcaption>Labeling an email</figcaption></figure>

<p>After a tag is created, a link is assigned to all e-mails tagged with that tag. It can be found on the left side of the inbox. It is even possible to change the color of the label from the 3-dot menu. There it is also possible to delete the label or create a new one.</p>

<h2>Conclusion</h2>

<p>Ultimately, we have seen how to improve productivity with these Gmail features. These tips will undoubtedly improve your overall productivity. See you soon.</p>
