Since the birth of capitalism, there has always been a need to attract more customers to your business. Before the internet, you would shout at passing by commuters on the streets or possibly cold call them. In the early days of the internet, you could put up a website and flood of interest would come in automatically.

Well it’s 2026 now… and the question around how to grow a business is still a big one. And with that in mind, today we will be giving our honest and unbiased review of Osserva.

What is Osserva Exactly?

Think of Osserva as a new way to approach lead gen and active sales. Instead of buying an expensive lead list from somewhere, their platform delivers you just a few highly-research and vetted leads every day. Then with that wealth of information, you can set up email automation and use insights for reasons to reach out to someone.

Their big selling point is getting ‘actionable’ information for each lead. So for example, “John Smith is attended CES and will be at booth 45 in February”. You can then use their A.I to generate an email like the following:

Hi John,

I just happened to see that you were attending CES this year and I want to make a point to stop by and say hi. Do you know if you will be there both days?

[signature]

No hard sell immediately, and even if I am not attending CES, I just started a real conversation. The response rate to emails like this? North of 30%.

Is Osserva Another Lead Gen Company?

The answer to this is “sort of”. They do in fact provide leads to you based on what kind of customer you are looking to sell to. However, the depth of information is nothing short of amazing. For example, you might look at a lead profile page and see that the lead is an avid fan of comic books and likes to develop web-based games in their free time.

Why is that information so valuable? Well, knowing that they develop games in their free time, might offer you a way of connecting with that person outside of a traditional sales approach. With a foot in the door through the game, not the company you are trying to sell to.

In that respect, the word ‘intelligence’ is most useful since most lead gen is all about building a relationship rather than shot gunning a massive list.

The only ‘downside’ here is that you really have to think creatively and figure out which approach will work best. That being said, Osserva also offers a concierge service where you can hire them to do all the creative thinking.

Our Experience with Osserva

We joined Osserva in beta to test out how it could work for us to gain more advertisers and sponsored content (it’s how we here at OSRadar actually earn revenue). It’s free for 30 days and after that they have plans ranging from $89/month to enterprise level.

The sign up process is simple, you simply sign up and then fill out a form. But then you have to wait. Which I must admit is a bit frustrating. It took about 12 hours to get the first leads in, but we were impressed with what it found. These weren’t leads that you find on the first page of Google or Linkedin.

We connected our email address and started emailing (we did not set up automation at this point). On the first three leads, we received no responses. However, on day 2, we did receive a positive response and were able to be put on their list for ad buys.

After the first few days we decided to set up automation, since we didn’t have time to manually reach out to everyone.

I am pleased to say that we get 1-3 responses per week and have already generated a bit of revenue from it. We are indeed planning on upgrading to the $89/month plan, and if business increases, we may bulk up that deal.

Osserva vs Others

Osserva stands apart from most lead generation companies because it doesn’t just deliver lists of names — it delivers actionable insights. Instead of generic contact data, Osserva provides real context around why a lead is worth reaching out to right now, giving sales teams clear, timely reasons to start a conversation. This shifts outreach from cold and interruptive to relevant and informed, dramatically improving response rates and deal quality. This much different than say Instantly, which reminds us alot of Apollo and the old-way of approaching lead gen.

Beyond the data itself, Osserva equips teams with dynamic sales tools that evolve alongside the lead. Leads are continuously refreshed, fully up to date, and vetted, ensuring sales efforts aren’t wasted on outdated or low-intent contacts. Combined with insight-driven triggers and practical next-step guidance, Osserva functions less like a traditional lead gen vendor and more like an always-on sales intelligence layer — one that helps teams prioritize smarter, move faster, and close with confidence.

Would We Actually Choose Osserva?

Osserva doesn’t just help us find leads — it helps you actually close sales. By delivering fully vetted, up-to-date contacts paired with actionable insights, clear reasons to reach out, and dynamic sales tools, Osserva turns outbound from guesswork into a focused, high-signal process. The result is less wasted effort, more relevant conversations, and a materially higher chance of converting the right prospects at the right time.

So would we actually pay for Osserva? We already do.

Greetings dear friends! Advertising on the Internet is one of the most
most common ways to finance the content we consume daily. But in some cases, ads can cause annoyance, risk, and excessive resource consumption. If you want to prevent ads from invading your Android browsing experience. One option you can consider using is AdGuard DNS. A free service that blocks online advertising and tracking. In this post, we will you how to block advertising on Android using DNS. We will focus on the solution proposed by AdGuard: a DNS that will only take you a couple of minutes to set up on your Android device to get rid of all ads.

What is DNS and how does it work?

DNS stands for Domain Name System. It is a system
that allows you to assign readable names to the IP addresses of devices connected to the Internet. In this way, users can access websites, online services, or network resources using easy-to-remember names, such as www.bing.com, rather than long and complex numbers, such as 204.79.197.200.

The way DNS works is based on a hierarchy of servers distributed around the world. They store and update information about names and associated IP addresses. When a user enters a domain name in his browser, the DNS system looks up the server that contains the information about that domain and returns the IP address. Thus, the browser can then establish a connection to the server hosting the requested website and display its content to the user.

How to use AdGuard’s DNS service on your Android phone

The AdGuard DNS is an alternative service to the one offered by our Internet provider or our router. In addition to performing the basic function of resolving domain names, it also filters the requests that are made to advertising and tracking servers. Preventing them from being loaded on our device. Thus, we can surf the Internet without seeing ads or being tracked by third parties.

Follow the steps below to use the AdGuard DNS service:

First step

Go to the Settings application on your Android phone.

How to block advertising on Android using DNS

Second step

Then go to Network & Internet>Advanced>Private DNS. You can get to this option easier and faster by typing “Private DNS” in the search box of the Settings app.

Private DNS

Third step

After that, once you have selected Private DNS, tap on “Private DNS provider hostname”.

Private DNS provider hostname

Fourth step

Now, you have to enter the AdGuard DNS address:

dns.adguard.com (to block advertising and tracking).

AdGuard DNS

Fifth step

Finally, click on Save and that’s it!

click on Save and that’s it!

With these steps, you will have already activated AdGuard DNS on your Android device. And you can enjoy cleaner and safer browsing. Of course, keep in mind that this method only works if you have Android 9 or higher, and that it may not be compatible with some public or private WiFi networks that require specific configuration.

Alternatively, you can activate this DNS from a more intuitive interface with the AdGuard app that you can download from Google Play.

Google Play | AdGuard for Android

Is it safe to use the AdGuard DNS service?

The dns.adguard.com is a public DNS service that protects against tracking, phishing, and malware. According to its website, dns.adguard.com uses encryption and does not keep any logs of user queries. However, as with any DNS service, there is a risk of bugs, unwanted failures, delays, or crashes. It is therefore recommended to
use dns.adguard.com with caution and verify its reliability and performance before relying on it for browsing. Thank you for reading us. Goodbye!

Greetings folks! Saving battery on Android is as simple as stopping using your phone or turning it off completely. That’s obvious, but there are ways to make better use of milli amps without having to do without basic use of your smartphone. There is a way to save a lot of battery by removing a couple of options that come by default in Developer Options. At the same time, you’ll save mobile data. The system offers several saving modes that can be activated if the percentage drops dangerously below 10%. For example; you can restrict the use of background apps and reduce the screen brightness. Both are visible options that help extend battery life, although other settings are not so obvious. In this post, we will show you how to save battery and mobile data with 2 hidden settings in Android 14.

Blocking the permanent mobile data connection

Wireless connections are an essential part of smartphones, especially after the progressive popularization of apps connected at all times. Android searches for a tower to connect to, tries to locate known WiFi networks and, on top of that, performs both tasks constantly and by default. Restricting this operation will have positive effects on battery saving without wasting more than a few minutes each day.

Increasing battery life is possible with two hidden settings on your Android that will help you.

In the Developer Options, several settings allow you to get some more autonomy. And two of these options are practical: “Mobile data always active” and “Wi-Fi scan throttling”. Both are intended to reduce the time away from an active Internet connection, but they can be switched off without reducing the usage experience too much. We find this highly recommended.

Here’s how to disable both network features from Developer Options:

First step

To begin with, it is essential to enable the “Developer options”. To do this, go to the settings of your Android. Then find the “About phone” section. Next, locate the “Build number” and press that option 7 times until you see a message saying “You are now a developer”. This activates the “Developer options”. There is a possibility that you will have to authorize unlocking your phone.

You are now a developer

Second step

Then go back to the main “Settings” menu and go to the “System” section to locate the new “Developer options”. For each brand of phone, this may vary: they are usually located under “System”.

Developer options

Third step

After that, swipe down in the Developer Options menu until you find the “Wi-Fi scan throttling” setting and enable it.

Wi-Fi scan throttling

Fourth step

Finally, just look for the “Mobile data always active” option and turn it off. And that’s it!

How to save battery and mobile data with 2 hidden settings in Android 14

Conclusion

By configuring these two functions of WiFi and mobile connectivity in the background your Android device will stop searching for networks constantly and, when connected to a known WiFi, it will disable mobile data so as not to waste resources when they are unnecessary (you can also completely disconnect the WiFi and activate it only when you are under your known networks). In return, it may take a few seconds longer than usual for your phone to connect to the Internet when you leave the WiFi coverage, nothing that would be problematic. Remember to try these options and let us know your experience in the comments. Thanks for reading us. Goodbye!

In this post, we are going to explain some methods to fix Windows problems without resetting the PC. In each of the sections, we talk about certain errors that many users face. But more importantly, we will look at possible solutions for them. Read on to learn how to fix Windows issues without having to reset your computer.

My hard drive is failing

If you are experiencing issues with your hard drive, don’t worry. There are some solutions that might help you fix the failure. And best of all, without having to resort to a full operating system restore.

What is the solution? Follow these steps to try to solve the problem:

Check cables and connections. Make sure that the power and data cables are securely connected to both the hard drive and the motherboard. Sometimes a loose connection can cause recognition issues and disk malfunction.

Error scanning. Windows 11 comes with a built-in tool called Error Checking that can identify and repair hard disk issues. You will find it in the Drive Properties section, accessible from File Explorer. In the pop-up dialog, click on Tools and then on Check.

Free up space on the hard disk. Sometimes a lack of disk space can cause performance problems. Uninstall unnecessary programs. Also, delete temporary files and empty the recycle garbage can to free up disk space.

Update drivers and firmware. Outdated software could be behind your issues. We recommend that you visit your hard drive and motherboard manufacturer’s website. Once there, check for driver and firmware updates.

Use the Optimize Drives tool. Windows offers a drive optimization tool that helps improve disk speed and performance. It is available in the Properties dialog of each drive.

Run the System File Checker. This tool searches for and repairs corrupt system files that could be causing hard disk issues. Open a CMD window with administrator privileges and launch the sfc /scannow command.

Use a third-party program to check the status of the disk. There are third-party tools that can provide more detailed information about the health of your hard drive. Some examples are CrystalDiskInfo or HD Tune.

Computer storage is full

Sometimes the problem is that your computer’s storage is full. Also, you can correct this problem without resetting Windows.

What is the solution? Here are some ideas:

Delete unnecessary files and programs.

Empty the recycle garbage can.

Use the Windows disk space freeing tool.

Transfer files to an external disk or in the cloud.

Uninstall applications that you do not use.

Delete temporary files and browser cache.

Compress large files.

An application has stopped working

Just because an application is not working properly does not mean that you should completely restore your computer. What is the solution? You should know these ideas to recover the correct functioning of your programs:

Restart the application. Close the application completely and reopen it. Sometimes temporary difficulties can be resolved with a restart.

Check for updates. Make sure the application is up-to-date.

Check the Internet connection. Certain applications may require a stable connection.

Repair or reset the application. Reset the application if you installed it from the Microsoft Store.

Reinstall the application. This is especially recommended if the problem is in the current installation files.

Update Windows. Make sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 installed. Indeed, some updates may fix compatibility issues with certain applications.

Make sure you meet the system requirements. Certain applications may have specific hardware or software requirements.

Windows does not download updates

Another common issue is Windows not downloading updates. Before you decide to completely restore your system, take note of the following suggestions.

What is the solution? Take a look at these:

Check your Internet connection.

If you are connected via VPN, disable this connection.

Restart your PC.

Check that the Windows Update service is running.

Delete the folder SoftwareDistribution located in the folder C:Windows.

Force the system to check for pending updates manually.

Temporarily disable the antivirus or firewall.

System does not start

What if the computer won’t boot? Before you completely reset it with a bootable USB, it’s worth taking a look at some possible solutions.

What is the solution? Try the following:

Verify that it is connected to a power source.

Restart the PC and check if the problem persists.

Boot in safe mode to rule out software conflicts.

Verify that the hard disk is recognized in the BIOS.

Use the boot repair tool.

Try to restore the system to an earlier point.

Perform a clean boot to identify boot conflicts.

Okay, so we have seen how to fix Windows errors without having to reset it. See you soon!

Imagine this scenario: your computer is running slower than usual or the operating system is displaying random errors. It may happen that your web browser freezes, struggling to get rid of strange advertisements. You may even be unable to access your documents. As a result, you are likely to suffer from a digital infection that prevents the regular use of your computer. In addition, it is likely to put your data, files, and perhaps something else at risk. For example, passwords and access to digital banking. It is best to be able to have options to remove malware.

Viruses, worms, Trojans, and other malicious specimens stalk computers and computer networks. Lately we suffer the introduction of malware of all types and for all platforms. In addition to data theft, cyber espionage and invasion of privacy. There has also been an increase in disinformation campaigns that end up posing an online risk. All this forces users and companies to take proactive measures to control them.

Major cybersecurity incidents highlight the fact that digital threats are becoming more and more dangerous. Indeed, they continue to increase in number and in the sophistication of their developments. Moreover, the situation is not going to improve as the industry continues to add billions of connected devices. Nor is it good news that phenomena such as BYOD and the hybrid work that is here to stay in the wake of the pandemic are increasing the number of vulnerable devices.

How to remove malware from your PC

Certainly, prevention is the first and foremost line of defense. However, it is not always possible to stay safe from infection. Additionally, any user will have had problems with malware at some point. Even if you have not been alerted by your security solution. If your personal computer has any of the symptoms, it’s time to take action immediately. Take a look at these 4 concrete steps as described below.

Attempts to save files

Backup copies are the greatest lifesaver to counteract any type of computer virus. Sometimes, even with some of them, such as Ransomware, they are the only solution. If you have not done it previously, you can try to save documents, photos, videos. In addition to any other type of personal or professional information that you cannot lose even if they are infected. Afterwards, you can try to recover them later on a clean system.

This group includes the most difficult ones, which will be those infected by the aforementioned Ransomware. Let’s remember that these usually involve encrypted files. So, you will be able to recover them when decryption tools are released. Of course, the goal is only to copy the files to a controlled external drive. Certainly, we should not run any of these files until they are cleaned because they can infect other computers.

To make these copies, we can use several methods. If you use Windows, it has a safe mode, also called Safe Mode or Advanced Boot. In this mode, it loads only the most basic drivers and services. Additionally, it is useful for finding and solving operating system problems that are not possible to fix in a standard boot. This is because this is where malicious code is typically loaded.

Disinfect the computer

Once we have tried to secure our essential files, it is time to start disinfection. However, it should be noted that this is not always possible, depending on the malware in question. There are times when there will be no choice but to perform a clean installation of the entire system and applications.

In cases of suspicion, the best option to remove malware from the PC is to use specialized antivirus rescue disks. This is an effective means. Indeed, a large majority of malware is loaded/hidden in memory, complicating its detection/removal once the operating system is booted.

Its operation is simple, just boot the computer with the created ransomware media. All will update the virus signature. Then, the program will start scanning and disinfecting the malware. From the file explorer of the Live CD, we will also be able to access the drive where the main system is installed. Useful if we want to delete a file. Also, we will be able to directly make the security copies that we saw in the previous section of the essential files.

System recovery

If the malware cleanup was effective, remove the rescue disk and try booting the computer as usual. If possible, install the best security solution available to you. Then check it again for viruses. There is also a good collection of very comprehensive free or commercial solutions here. If the system boots normally, check if all the applications you have installed are working properly. Also, drivers and drivers. Even if the operating system is clean and working, there may be damage.

It may happen that despite the above efforts, we have not been able to kill the infection. Consequently, the only thing left to do is to reinstall the operating system. It is possible that we have a recovery partition or system disks. Such as those offered by some manufacturers in their new equipment. In such a case, it will be the first thing to use to revert the equipment to its factory state.

We will be able to restore the operating system to factory settings using the same operating system tool. It is also a good option to use restore points. These are another simple alternative to using backups or a fresh installation. If none of the above works, it is time to perform a clean installation of the entire system. With this in mind, we will format the partition to make sure that the computer is virus free.

Recovering files

Finally, you can recover your data and applications. However, it is very advisable to thoroughly scan and disinfect the data files that you had previously backed up beforehand. Make sure they are clean before copying them back to your computer. Indeed, they could be the cause of the infection, and you may have to repeat the whole process again. It includes the revision of external USB units, another frequent way of virus camouflage.

Prevents further damage

The system partition is now clean. However, we must also check the rest of the partitions and the entire local network. Indeed, the virus could have arrived that way and re-infected the computer. You can check this with the rescue disks created earlier. In addition, you can also try with a security solution installed on the computer. Keep in mind that nowadays, it is difficult to keep a personal computer clean without any additional protection. If you use Windows, it is advisable to at least use Microsoft’s Defender, which is installed by default.

It is also advisable to change passwords. A good part of current malware infects computers with the aim of obtaining access passwords. It is not unlikely that they are in the hands of third parties, even if your system is clean. Therefore, after an infection, it is highly recommended to change them. Particularly, the local ones for authentication in the operating system to those used in Internet services. Especially those for financial services or e-commerce. Great way to remove malware.

Finally, take care of your cybersecurity

Insist on prevention as the first and main line of defense. With this in mind, it is necessary to observe due caution in the websites we browse. We should also check the applications we install. Even the reception of e-mails and attachments. In the same way, we have to check the downloads or the use of social networks. It is necessary to look at the essential update of the operating system and applications or the use of a good security solution.

We ask you to be extremely careful with Ransomware and Phishing. They are undoubtedly the two most used and dangerous types of attack at the client computer level. Most infections occur because the user opens a malicious application or program. Let’s remember that it can come from any source. Especially the usual ones such as a web browser (displaying adware, redirection to a malicious website… ). It is also plausible that the email that instead of being attached includes a link to Mega, Google Drive or Dropbox that leads to malware or messaging services in the case of mobile attacks, increasingly widespread.

A common feature of all Ransomware is that they block the operation of computers. To do this, they take over files with strong encryption and demand a ransom amount of money from the organization, company, or user to release them. The big problem is that once infected, there is no solution unless that particular type has been decrypted. The worst thing is that this usually takes years to happen and file recovery is complex. It is common to see it combined with phishing attacks. This is the second major threat and one for which extreme caution should also be exercised. Okay, so we’ve seen a few ways to remove malware.

Internet scams are everywhere. Indeed, we can be victims of scams that put our security and privacy at risk in different ways. In fact, we can receive an e-mail, for example, which is actually a phishing attack. Or, if we make a mistake, our data, and passwords could be stolen by simply sending an SMS. This is precisely what we are going to talk about in this article. We will explain how to detect if an SMS is a fraud and can put our security at risk.

Why do we receive fraudulent SMS?

The first thing we must take into account when analyzing why we are receiving this type of messages is that practically in the totality of occasions they are sent massively. That is to say, to a great amount of people at the same time. This is for statistical reasons. In fact, for the scammers, the more people they send the SMS to, the more likely it is that someone will fall for them.

In addition to this, most of the people who receive these messages do not know how to identify that they are false or that they are scam attempts. For this reason, in many occasions, they achieve their goal. In reality, what they are after is to get hold of our personal data. It can be to sell them or to impersonate our identity in some site, as we have already indicated above.

What to look for

We can be victims of many attacks by means of text messages on our cell phones. It must be taken into account that a few years ago it was possibly the most used means of communication in many cases. A way to send a short text to someone immediately. But nowadays, it is not very used by users. In fact, we really only receive SMS with verification codes, advertising and attempted attacks.

If we make mistakes with this type of messages that are actually fraud, we can put our security at risk. Not only will it affect the mobile device in question. In fact, it could also manage to steal personal data and passwords. A problem that is aggravated when it also asks us to download some kind of data. All this makes it essential to know how to recognize when an SMS can be a scam. In this way we will be alert, and we will not make mistakes that can impact us. Sometimes it may actually look like a legitimate message. However, there will always be certain details that can help us to see that it is a scam.

It has a link (especially HTTP)

One of the most common tests is when it carries a link. Normally, it is through this link that the attack is carried out. It can be a Phishing attack. It is there where they pretend that we log in to a service. However, it can also be a link to download a malicious file.

It is important to bear in mind that HTTP links (those that are not encrypted) are the most dangerous. Attackers will usually use this type of link. However, you can also encounter a fake page that is encrypted. Therefore, although it is a warning sign, you should not rule out the possibility that an HTTPS link is insecure.

This link is shortened

But beyond the fact that a link arrives, it is very common to find shortened links. They use this strategy to prevent us from really seeing what the address is and click on it. We should always avoid entering links that are shortened. In addition, we can make use of tools that allow us to know what the real address is without having to open it.

A short link does not necessarily mean that it will be insecure. However, it is true that they are widely used by hackers. Ultimately, what they do is hide everything else. We do not really see the URL to which it will direct us. Therefore, it is easier for us to end up entering a page.

For example, if it is a supposed message from the bank, perhaps the domain is totally different and has nothing to do with that bank. If we see that domain like that, we are less likely to access it. On the other hand, if we receive a URL hidden in a shortened link, we are more likely to make the mistake of opening it.

It comes from a platform that we do not know

A clear sign of a scam is when we receive a message that supposedly comes from a platform that we do not use. We are talking for example about a courier company that we are not expecting. Also, an SMS from a bank that we have never had an account with, etc.

Hackers usually take advantage of the Christmas or summer campaigns to send SMS from courier companies such as Amazon. It is also common for them to try with the main banks in case we have an account and fall into the trap.

But beware, if you receive a message from a platform you know, it does not mean that it is safe. In fact, it is very common that they use the name or brand of very popular services. For example, banks or online shopping platforms. In this case, they want to have a higher probability of success and get the victim to click.

It is addressed in a generic way.

Another proof that it can be a fraud is when that SMS is addressed in a generic way. That is, it is when we find messages that say dear user and similar. They are not really addressed to the name of the person who receives it. Finally, this is a symptom that it may belong to a massive campaign.

It may happen that you think that the content of the message is totally irrelevant to us. Or you may think that there is no reason to have received it. Then it is most likely a fraudulent message. In the best case scenario, it could be an SMS sent by mistake that was addressed to someone else. However, whatever the case, we recommend that if you do not know the sender, simply delete it. This way you protect yourself from any risk.

However, phishing attacks are becoming more and more personal. Hackers are looking for more and more information about the victims. Therefore, they create links that are targeted with first and last names to increase the likelihood that we will click on them. You are more likely to click on a link that is addressed to your name. For example, indicating that an account you use has a problem and that you need to change something in the settings.

The latter is known as Spear Phishing. In this case, it would be addressed to a specific person, with name and possibly surname. Therefore, even if the SMS is in your name, you should verify that it is reliable. Hackers can collect information from victims in order to send more personalized messages and be successful.

Use alert messages

This type of messages that seek to deceive the victim usually contain warning messages. They tell us that our account is going to be suspended, that there has been an issue or similar. They seek to scare the victim. In this way, they will click on those links or carry out some action they ask for.

Undoubtedly, this is something very common among Phishing attacks. They tell us that something is wrong, that we must modify something in our account or carry out any step. Of course, all this as quickly as possible so that we do not have time to think and make mistakes. In this way, if they send it to many users at the same time, there may be someone clueless who falls into the trap. It is also possible that an elderly person might get nervous and think that they really need to do something as soon as possible to avoid having their account stolen. The worst thing is that it really is a trap.

The sender’s number has a very long length

In many occasions, we usually receive calls or SMS from long numbers. In addition, and these are typically from switchboards of companies such as electricity or telephone companies.

But we must take into account that this type of numbers often have a maximum of 10 digits. So, if we receive any SMS from a number that is longer than this, we should suspect that it is an attempt of scam. Since, in general, these numbers are typically generated internationally. Therefore, if we do not know the sender, it is best not to interact with the message.

Grammar is not the best

We can also look at the way the SMS is written. Typically, they regularly make grammatical errors, typing errors. They may even be translated from another language, etc. This is therefore another indication that the message we have received may be a scam and put our security at risk.

Whenever you see a message or any email of this type, you should run away. We must be very careful not to open links. In fact, it may be a scam that only seeks to collect data or steal passwords.

We are asked to log in or provide data

Usually these SMSes are intended to steal information and especially passwords. They are based on a phishing attack that seeks to gain the victim’s trust so that they log in or enter some kind of personal data. There is nothing fixed. Indeed, sometimes we will be taken to a page that pretends to be legitimate to log in. But sometimes we will be asked for a series of information.

https://bet-bonusking.net/
https://bonuslistele.net/
https://bestbonussites.com/

In short, these are some fairly common signs that we are facing a fraudulent text message, which seeks nothing more than to steal our data and thus compromise privacy. It is something that we can find on our mobile on many occasions. They especially pretend to be legitimate companies, banks and other platforms that users might trust.

Greetings friends There are not many ways to use Bing Chat on Android. The platform has opened up incredibly in the last few months. If you have any doubts about how to use it and how to get the most out of it, here is a great help. Bing Chat is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform that is very accessible and friendly. The idea is that it is an extension of your browser’s search engine. But with humanized support in your communication. In addition, you will be able to ask interesting questions that will be answered with the support of information on the Internet and showing the sources. Initially, it could be run only within the Microsoft Edge web browser. But later this changed. So in this article, we will show you how to use Bing Chat on Android in a simple way.

The best way to use Bing Chat on Android

As I told you earlier, initially you could only use Bing Chat from the Edge browser. Nowadays, not only can you run it from other browsers, but you can also do it from your phone without any inconvenience. The main way is to download the official Bing app. Much more than a simple search engine. The app aims directly at the use of artificial intelligence, through the GPT-4 engine developed by OpenAI, the same creators of ChatGPT. This fusion allows us to have a friendly and intelligent web search engine that helps to synthesize the results.

This system is also called Web Co-Pilot and is currently used by a large number of platforms to enhance the user experience. Here you will find an interactive chat with AI, a web browser, and a model for creating text elements. An image management system is planned for the future and has already been lightly implemented in the web version.

To use Bing Chat on your Android phone, please follow the steps below:

First step

Download and install the Bing Chat application from the following link

Google Play | Bing: Chat with AI & GPT-4

Second step

Then launch the app and tap the Chat icon to start the conversation.

Chat icon

Third step

Another thing you can do, which is optional, is to sign in with a Microsoft account.

Microsoft account

If you don’t have an account, you won’t be able to save your chat history and settings preferences. Also, if you are not signed in with an account, you may not be able to access certain Bing Chat functions or features that are only available to registered users. If you have an account, you can customize your chat experience and access additional features, such as setting up notifications.

How to install the Bing Chat widget on Android

In addition to installing the app on your phone. You can use a widget, ideal for those who want to make a quick query and looking for the best of the web. The installation of this is very trivial, but I can quickly explain the steps you need to follow.

First step

Install the Bing application. You should already have it if you followed the steps above.

Second step

Then go to the main screen of your phone and press and hold for a few seconds in an area where there is no icon.

main screen

Third step

After that, when new options appear on the screen press the central option, called “Widget”.

Widget

Remember that it is indispensable to have enough space on the screen to place the Widget. Regularly, these search bars occupy 1 row and 4 columns. This way, you will have faster access to Bing Chat functions. Ideal to get the most out of it. Thanks for reading us. Bye!

Hello friends! Surely you’ve ever wanted to block internet access to an app or game on your Android device. Maybe you want to save mobile data and prevent an app from sending you annoying notifications. Block ads, or just protect your privacy. Whatever the reason. In this article we will explain how to block internet access from any app on Android. You can do it quickly and easily. There are several ways to block internet access from an app or game on Android. But the easiest and most effective. It is to use a third-party application that is responsible for managing network permissions on your device.

How to block internet access for any application on Android with NetGuard

There are many options available in Google Play. But in this case, we recommend NetGuard. It is a free, secure, reliable, and ad-free application. It allows you to control the Internet traffic of any app with a simple tap.

First step

To use NetGuard, you must first download and install it on your Android device by following the link below:

Google Play | NetGuard – No-Root Firewall

Google Play

Second step

Then open NetGuard on your Android and click “I agree” on the first prompt you see.

NetGuard

Third step

Activate the application by tapping the button in the upper left corner.

Activate the application

Fourth step

Next, tap “ok” as many times as necessary to allow “NetGuard” to create a VPN (Virtual Private Network) with which it can filter Internet traffic from applications.

tap “ok”

VPN

Fifth step

You will also need to disable battery optimization for NetGuard (so it can run more consistently). You can do this by following the pop-up window that the application shows you or by going to Settings>Applications>NetGuard>Battery>No restrictions.

NetGuard

No restrictions

Sixth step

Finally, go back to NetGuard and disable Internet access for the applications you want by tapping the WiFi and Mobile Data icons. If the icon is green, Internet access is enabled, and if it is red, the application cannot use the Internet.

NetGuard

Remember that you can change the permissions in NetGuard at any time. You can also configure other advanced options from the application’s settings menu. For example, you can create whitelists or blacklists of applications, set rules by time or network, view the data usage of each application, and much more.

Is it safe to use NetGuard to block Internet access for an app or game on Android?

By blocking Internet access to applications through a VPN. You might think that this method can be dangerous for your privacy. But don’t worry, NetGuard VPN does not connect to any external server or collect your data. It only serves to block Internet access to the applications you choose. It is also important to note that NetGuard is an open-source application (you can view its code on GitHub). This is a guarantee that the application is transparent, and secure and does not hide anything strange in its operation. Thank you for reading. Bye bye!

Statistician states that over the past five years, we received on average about 55% of spam emails. Unfortunately, that annoying stuff continues to land in our inbox every day. As when you’re on the internet, spam is like that pesky neighbor who just won’t go away.

Sure, the email companies are always trying to outsmart those spam messages. But no matter the strategies they use, those emails still manage to sneak into our inboxes and mess up our day.

What makes things worse, sometimes the important emails we actually want to see still end up in that dreaded spam folder. So, let’s explore top 5 effective strategies to keep your inboxes secure — and spam-free.

1. Pick reputable email service providers

The frequency of receiving spam emails makes email users worldwide get creative with ways to stay safe. And to start with, one of the most obvious strategies to protect your email account is to use a trustworthy email service. Your choice of email provider affects how secure your mailbox is. Incoming mail is filtered by this provider’s strong security measures to help weed out spam email.

Incoming messages can also be restricted using filters depending on particular criteria, such as the subject line, the sender’s email address, or specified keywords. You can always delete or archive emails that come from blacklisted senders, or simply mark them as spam. This will educate your chosen email provider, and in the future it will archive emails from a suspicious sender without your knowledge.

Speaking of trustworthy email providers, these include such reputable names as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Zoho, AOL Mail, and other services. Among these, Outlook and Gmail are considered to have the most rigorous spam filters.

2. Configure your privacy settings

By changing your email privacy settings, you can also stop receiving spam emails. If you wish to preserve your privacy, most email applications’ default settings aren’t always sufficient.

But luckily, you can make your email settings stronger with some simple adjustments:

Privacy settings in Google. The privacy settings of your Google account, which cover all Google services including YouTube and Search, can be easily modified in Gmail. For managing your Google Account, click on your profile icon. You can decide whether to keep your history in these services, turn off personalized adverts, and change who has access to your information under the Data and Privacy area.

Location tracking and advertising in Outlook/Yahoo. You may alter personalized advertising and location tracking in Outlook and Yahoo Mail by going to the Privacy dashboard in Outlook and the Privacy Controls in Yahoo.

Two-factor authentication (all services). By enabling two-factor authentication and including a phone number and email for recovery, you may further strengthen the security of your email. This measure is available in all email service providers, but specific instructions for setting it up vary.

3. Make an alias email for general use

Making a separate email account that is just used for general purposes is one of the simplest ways to protect your primary one without any additional expenses. This will make sure that all of your crucial emails have already been pre-filtered to remove spam and undesirable messages.

You can easily join up for newsletters, subscriptions, and receive critical information for a limited time by having a separate email account, preventing it from getting mixed up with your primary inbox. By doing this, you can forget about the problem of having a full inbox and weeding through pointless emails to find those that are really important.

Now, there are various types of disposable email addresses, and you should selected this type depending on your needs:

Throwaway email. This email type provides an instant and anonymous email address, which is ideal for receiving sign-up verification emails you may not need later. However, free services often only allow receiving messages, requiring a premium for sending emails.

Forwarding address. This type offers an alternative to using temporary emails. It adds an extra layer of privacy by funneling incoming mail from another address to your primary email inbox. It also allows you to manage multiple email sources in one place, enhancing convenience. And lastly, it enables the addition of extra spam filters for added security.

Alias address. While this email type is similar to a forwarding address, it is set up differently. Its built-in features with many email service providers let you create alternate email addresses within your existing server. An alias address also provides control over the emails you receive, allowing for automatic categorization and organization.

You can select the type of email suited for your use — and never bother with spam in your personal email again.

4. Create secure passwords

Make long passwords with at least eight characters that are complicated. For a truly complex password, at least three of the following components should be present:

Capital letters

Letters in lowercase

Numerology symbols

Special characters

Source: Unsplash

Sure thing, such obvious ideas as names of your pets, your address, name, and date of birth should not be used. However, if you still use them, consider replacing regular letters with capital or lowercase letters or special characters. For instance, instead of using “Jassie123” as a password, use “J@ss!e” The password should be as complicated as possible.

5. Educate the spam filters of your email provider

You may improve your email provider’s spam filtering as one practical step. By doing this, you can instruct your email service provider to mark certain emails as spam right away in the future.

For educating your email provider, simply demonstrate which emails you don’t want to receive by filtering them as spam. This way, your email provider will learn to independently identify such emails and automatically label them. And instead of being shown in your inbox, any suspicious emails will be sent directly to the spam bin.

You should remember though that your email provider’s spam filter isn’t flawless and won’t be able to catch 100% of spam. But with some time and patience, it will learn to properly identify messages from suspicious senders, or those containing dangerous links or even malware.

Wrapping up

In the never-ending battle against spam invading our inboxes, it’s time to get proactive about email security. Here are some practical strategies:

Choose reliable email providers: Go for the big guns like Gmail and Outlook – they’re known for their awesome spam filters.

Configure your privacy settings. Modify your advertising, location tracking, two-factor authentication, and general privacy settings for an extra layer of security.

Get a sidekick email: Create a separate email for your everyday stuff to keep spam out of your main inbox.

Mind password security. Make your passwords beefy with a mix of upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and funky characters.

Educate your spam filters: Label suspicious emails as spam to train your email provider to identify them independently.
.

Remember, even with these tricks, there’s no foolproof defense. Stay sharp when dealing with unknown senders, and you’ll have a safer, spam-free inbox.

With more than 20 years behind it, this fast and reliable way of downloading files is still with us. And it doesn’t look like it’s going to disappear anytime soon. Torrents are not going out of fashion, mainly for two reasons. The first is that the Internet and its capacity to host files of all kinds is immense. Secondly, download speeds are not affected if an originating source is slow or unavailable. If you are here, it is because maybe it is your first time with torrents. Or maybe you want to resume downloading. Or maybe you are simply looking for a good torrent downloader that works on Windows 10 or 11. Then don’t worry because we list the best alternatives with their main features.

uTorrent

The torrents download program par excellence needs few introductions. We are talking about a veteran tool (dating back to 2005). However, it has not lost its essence: it is surprisingly light (if you install it carefully). Additionally, it works for Windows, Mac, and Android. It also has an interesting extra. The tool is available in a web version, so you don’t even have to download it, ideal for computers you don’t own.

The free version works well, is functional, and no more downloads are needed. However, in return, you will have to watch ads and pay attention during installation to minimize the extra programs that may be installed. Throughout its history, it has had the occasional major security problem. Although being under the control of BitTorrent implies a decent support and updates, with their respective patches.

BitTorrent

It is the official BitTorrent client, and it is also a light and ad-supported alternative (the good thing is that it is free). Among its assets, a configuration so simple that makes it ideal for beginners (but it is well stocked in terms of options), an intuitive interface and you can schedule downloads. Also, its operation is impeccable.

As a curiosity, the BitTorrent app is a version of uTorrent but with a different name. Certainly, they are very similar in terms of functions. Although it has substantial differences as it is open to seeds (those who share a complete file within the torrent network once they have completed the download). In addition to comments and opinions of the web.

qBittorrent

qBittorrent offers an interesting balance between speed and simplicity at zero cost and without ads. In reality, some torrent clients offer a huge amount of features. On the other hand, others go for the basics. However, this program is right in the middle. In fact, it has the premise of meeting the needs of the majority of users, using as little CPU and memory as possible.

The software comes with a torrent search engine, multimedia player, encryption, IP filtering, torrents rating… In short, it is the closest thing to the open source version of uTorrent, but with less bloatware. It is available for Windows 10 and 11, but also macOS and Linux.

Vuze

Formerly known as Azureus, Vuze claims to be the most powerful BitTorrent client out there. To be honest, it aims high. There are two versions, a simpler one called Vuze Leap and the more complete Vuze Plus. In both cases they offer torrent downloading, multimedia player and support magnet file download links. The difference is that the Plus version includes integrated antivirus protection and the possibility to preview files.

One of Vuze’s strong points is its interface. In fact, it is clear and designed with special care. Therefore, even the most advanced functions are clear (ideal for those who are just starting out and are looking to get the most out of this way of downloading). It also has IP filtering functions, bandwidth limitation, integrated search engine and plugins to extend its functionality.

Transmission

If you want to download torrents without any more stories or complications, Transmission provides a fast download speed with a simple interface and low resource consumption. Best of all, it is open source. The interface is intuitive and basic. Therefore, it is a good choice for beginners. Moreover, it neglects details such as remote access. This comes in handy for downloading files to the computer while controlling the process from a tablet or a phone.

On the downside: you will find few advanced features that are present in the previous ones, and the customization is scarce.

Tixati

Tixaty is a BitTorrent and Linux work written in C++. In addition, its two best assets at a functional level is that it is designed to be light in terms of resource consumption. Additionally, it has tools to achieve high-speed downloads.

But it also has a fairly basic interface and comes free of ads and additional software. However, it does have useful features such as a peer selection system, Magnet link support, IP filtering, bandwidth limits and even scheduling.

BiglyBt

If you are looking for an open source and ad-free client for Windows, BiglyBT is a candidate to consider. This program is the continuation of the Vuze-Aureus project.

It has a lot of features such as bandwidth speed limits, media player, download scheduling. It is also compatible with third-party plugins and in general has extensive customization.
