Hello!

For me it shows “no installation candidate for qt5-default exists” (or similar) -even following the 7-step guide above. How can one avoid that?

Hello!

I’m trying to do this, but it’s not working. I get an error “use of undeclared identifier ‘NULL'” within the the editor but it compiles perfectly fine. Do you know what I can do to fix this? Here are my steps. I switched the order a bit since it didn’t work the first time when I followed what you wrote precisely.

1. Install ubuntu-20.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso on a VirtualBox machine.
2. sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
3. sudo apt install build-essential
4. sudo apt install qt5-default
5. sudo apt install qtcreator
6. Start qtcreator, new project >> Non-Qt Project >> Plain C Application
7. in main(), add “int * x = NULL;”

That doesn’t work, I still get the error “package not found”
